It's the season of giving guys calm down. It's not like this happens all the time, I've seen probably 4 artists do this in the past year.
Tom is always willing to support a devoted member of his site. That's what makes this such a tight community. I don't encourage handouts but all the artists who have done this that I've assisted show lots potential and talent.
Everybody needs financial help, MindChamber. He's just no forcing you to pay. :P

I usually message them all at the same time, and whoevers interested i go with and negotiote price. Unfortunately NG has only gotten back to me once and that didnt work out.
I never said he supported them by giving them money.
Tom has a lot of influence. He supports through advertising in his posts. If you look pretty much every big news post by Tom has a link to a member who is trying to do something big. Without him the NG Documentary wouldn't have reached it's huge kickstarter budget.

Oh yeah I've seen the dogs one, I just assumed that that was a running joke and nobody fell for it. I like Eggy though, he's actually contributed to the site, so I can live with helping him out, we'll see how it pans out.
